What a swell Christmas party!
20/12/2010
More than 100 party-goers packed merrily into the offices of Navigate, Designline and Life Magazines to celebrate Christmas and an office warming on 16 December.
Our many friends and clients included: Town Mayor Chris Jenner and his wife Pollyanna and their daughter Lowrie; Phil Gadd and Mark Willcox from Portsmouth International Port; and Phil Bates ("Mr Grayshott”), a trustee of Grayshott Pottery; Rob Reynolds, from Bedales Schools; and Penny Guy from The Passenger Shipping Association.
And we were pleased to welcome Martin Smith and his wife Julia, whose company Designline merged with Navigate in the summer.
Petersfield town councillor and former mayor Paul Molloy summed up the evening: "Many thanks for inviting me to your event. I thoroughly enjoyed it …it's always great to hear of successful Petersfield businesses. Even better when it concerns Navigate and Lifemags. Really liked the office set-up and got a chance to talk to some of your staff - who are all clearly very happy … "
A delighted Gareth Gammon, MD of Navigate, said: "At the end of such an exciting year for our three businesses, it was great to relax and enjoy an evening with so many who have supported us – clients and partners alike. A big thank you to all. We look forward to 2011.”
Navigate were helped on the evening by Jules, the production manager of the annual Life in Petersfield Business and Community Awards, and by Peter Plant, a renowned cartoonist. Peter delighted and scared the guests in equal measure (click here to see some of his work). David Haworth, from the Hampshire Wine Shippers, served hot mulled wine; and gorgeous nibbles were enjoyed from the Bluebell at Cocking.
After thanks from Nick Keith and Gareth Gammon, the evening closed when the guests watched the official premier of the latest Navigate corporate video, which is on their new website...BAFTAs to follow!
This Christmas thing might have to become an annual event....
