The winning smiles (above) belong to the Navigate design team and Stuart Woods, leader of the My2012 project for schools. Stuart (second from the right) popped into the Navigate Studio to present a special plaque and medals in celebration on 20 July, a week after the special school games held at the Mountbatten centre for 4,500.
Organizers of the My2012 had already give public praise to the work of Navigate for creating the brand and the website for this highly successful project.
The website has been an integral part of this Olympic project for state schools in East Hants, according to the organisers. It has allowed the schools to keep in touch and publish details of their events and successes.
Stuart Wood, of The Petersfield School and chair of the My2012 project, said: "It's a testament to Navigate's branding that My2012 is in the schools', and public conscienceless, and I;m delight to say 'top of the Google searches' to them.
"To be aligned with London 2012 yet remain distinct is a real balance – again something that was achieved because of Navigate's work.
"The website has received countless expressions of praise, and rightly so. I reflect how far we've come in less than a year in building this brand and impacting to positively on children's experiences of the year. It has been tremendous."
