Supporting Elizabeth FitzRoy
01/12/2010

Navigate has worked with Elizabeth FitzRoy Support since early summer, producing a number of key publications for this busy charity. Elizabeth FitzRoy Support is a national charity providing practical support for adults with learning and physical disabilities.
The publications include the autumn edition of Trust, a bi-annual magazine; the Annual Report; and various marketing documents. Navigate also helped to produce flyers to promote Elizabeth FitzRoy Support’s Christmas cards, and some display banners for the Learning Disability Exhibition at the Business Design Centre, London, on 8 December.
Locally in Hampshire, creative members of Elizabeth FitzRoy’s On Track team are exhibiting their artwork at Queen Elizabeth Country Park’s Lime Cafe from 10 December to 6 February ((daily from 9am-4.30pm). The exhibition coincides with QECP’s Winter Wonderland season.
On Track performers appeared before a packed audience at The Petersfield School in September with a marvellous musical medley from shows such as Grease, Annie, Cats, and Oliver.
The charity, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2012, aims "to allow the people we support to live the lives they choose, making their own decisions while enjoying a full and independent life”. Based in Petersfield, Elizabeth FitzRoy Support provides services in Hampshire, Sussex, Surrey, and Kent; Essex and East Anglia; the East and West Midlands; and Cheshire and Manchester.
It is said that ‘charity begins at home’, and Petersfield is certainly home to a great national charity.
